I am pretty sure this has to do with VSS Shadows. Okay, maybe this may help. That particular drive died. I am thinking these errors are searching for the dead Drive.

I am trying one last effort to eliminate the volsnap issue. I do not use Shadow Copy for my users, it is not mandatory. I disabled the feature and I am still able to restore the files and lost no backup! I will know more in the AM after the Scheduled Backup rolls thru tonight.

I will report my findings tomorrow. It failed. I really had high hopes for this one. I am now thinking that there may be some sort of list or archive for past volsnap.
